Have you ever heard of Nioxin? I was told I had effluvium about a year or two ago and nothing has helped. I heard of the shampoo Nioxin but found terrifying reviews on it along with good reviews. Was wondering what you thought of it.

Yea I’ve heard of Nioxin but I never tried it. I would try natural homemade tips before I try Nioxin. I feel like it has too many chemicals and that I would become dependent on it. I don’t want my hair to stop falling out again if I stopped using it, ya know what i mean. However, that’s just my opinion. You can try it and see if your hair likes it!

Since moving to college four months ago, I've been suffering from an oily scalp & the hair on the top of my head clumping together & smelling kind of off (which can't be healthy). This used to effect most of my hair until I switched my shampoo & conditioner, & it's mostly gone, but it's still affecting my scalp. It looks & feels horrible & I can't stand it. If you could suggest something to help me get rid of it then I would be really grateful!

Try using organic apple cider vinegar (with the mother). Just take some cotton balls, soak it in the vinegar and apply it to your scalp/hair for about 30 mins or so :)

So today I received my first voxbox! I’m so excited to test and review all these products. I suggest all you guys go on the influenster website if you want to test out things for free and review them!

BRANDS FEATURED:

-NYC New York Color® IndividualEyes Custom Compact: The colors were pigmented very well and I liked the primer but I wasn’t that happy with the illumintor/highlighter because it didn’t suit my skin tone. I think it would look better with people who had perfect skin. I give this a 7/10.

-Kiss® Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit: I never wear fake eyelashes so I was kind of worried about trying these out. I appreciated that it was a starter kit because obviously I have no skills or knowledge about fake lashes so it was very easy to put and take off. I could also clean the lashes up and use it for the next time. It was a very dramatic look so I think it’ll be great for a halloween look or party/night make up look. I give it a 10/10.

-Bath & Body Works® Mini Candles: Pumpkin Cupcake: I personally don’t like the smell of pumpkin so I wasn’t that excited about this candle. I liked the cupcake part of it lol but it wasn’t enough to mask the pumpkin smell of it. I give it a 5/10 because of personal reasons but it’s a good candle, it diffuses through the room very well!

-Vitabath® Fragrance Mist: The fragrance was an okay smell. Not one of my favorites but it’s good to use around the house to make it smell good. It also has vitamin e, acai, and other vitamins so it’s good to use on your skin (not face, please lol). I give it a 7/10.

-Goody® Simple Styles Spin Pin: I was very excited to use this because I wear buns a lot. It’s very easy to put in your hair. You spin it around and it sticks in your hair. I really like the concept of this spin pin. You can make 3 different hair styles from it but I think if you’re creative, you can find other ways to use it. The only bad thing about it is if you have fine hair, the pins will show or won’t stay in. I give this a 8/10.

-EBOOST®: It’s a nutritional drink and gives you energy. I did get a boost of energy and was in desperate need of it since college drains me out :(. The taste was okay. I give this a 7/10.

-Not Your Mother’s® Kinky Moves™ Curl Defining Hair Cream & Smooth Moves™ Frizz Control Hair Cream: I don’t have curly hair so I tried it out as a scrunching cream. I just put it in my damp hair after I shower and scrunch it. When it dries, it turns into a nice texture wave. It’s also very cheap. I give it a 8/10.
